Mark from the Veg Grower Podcast demonstrates the simple process of installing iTip® Safety Handles.
1. Start by removing the existing handles from your wheelbarrow.
2. Depending on your wheelbarrow arms, you may need to use the provided spacers. Slide these spacers onto the arms before placing the handles to ensure a snug fit.
3. To secure the handles in place, use an electronic screwdriver to tighten the self-drilling screws.
4. Repeat the same process with the second Safety Handle.
Maintenance
Safety Handles require minimal maintenance. Periodically, inspect the fixing screws to ensure they remain securely tightened. Additionally, depending on the usage environment of your equipment, you may want to perform occasional cleaning and apply a thin layer of silicone spray or WD-40 (or a similar lubricant) to both the surfaces of the D handle and the connector that slide against each other. This practice will guarantee smooth and reliable operation.
